Carbones works in the international commodity trade business.
It deals with
• Solid fuels (anthracite, pet coke, coal)
At the moment the most profitable material is pig iron. Pig iron is important as commodity both for the steel production and for the foundry industry.
Pig iron is purchased at different production sites, momentarily mostly in Russia. It is forwarded to Austria where it is temporarily stored by rail or by ship. From there it is delivered to the customers by road or by rail.
